F-14D Tomcat VF-31 Tomcatters, AJ102 / 163904 / LAST CAT STANDING, 2006 - A3 Size
by Andrew Taylor Date Added: Sunday 31 May, 2009
AJ102 was one of the aircraft at the centre of attention at the Farewell Sunset ceremony at NAS Oceana in 2006. Although she taxied out for her final flypast before heading to the scrap yard, she never actually took off. Some technical failure resulted in another aircraft being used.

This print depicts the final scheme that 102 was painted in for the ceremony as she was part of the last group of four aircraft known as "last cat standing".

This is a nice print that once again illustrates the final days of the pure heart, guts and soul machine that faired well in an environment being taken over by the Super Hornet.

This is one for the history books and any F-14 fans historic collection.
